David Eberly, President of the Aviation Council of Pennsylvania hosted a webinar for Pennsylvania airports on May 1st. There were presentations by three airports discussing pre-COVID-19 and today's reality, sharing lessons learned and moving forward. We thank these airports for sharing their insights:

Airport Manager, Bradford Regional Airport
Derek V.  Martin A.A.E, Executive Director, Erie Regional Airport Authority

Following these presentations, Eric Smith, Esquire, Kaplan Kirsch Rockwell provided a national view of the COVID-19 response for the aviation industry with applications for PA.

These presentations were followed-up with discussions on ACP's legislative priorities targeted to assist post-COVID-19. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh International Airports representatives discussed the need for flexibility around airports' use of grant funding. We then discussed the Airport Land Development Zone presented by a representative from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. Fran Strouse, LR Kimball, followed, discussing the Uniform Construction Code Exemption for hangars 12,000 sq. ft. or less. Harrisburg International Airport's Executive Director finished the presentations with a discussion on  Senate Bill 904. Peer-to-Peer Rental Vehicles.  We concluded with a video by Gabe Monzo, Arnold Palmer Airport on their efforts to restore flights.
