The Aviation Foundation of Pennsylvania provides funding for the Aviation Council of Pennsylvania’s scholarship programs. Our Mission is to assist applicants in the attainment of their aviation career goals.

  • AVIATION TECHNOLOGY: Includes airframe and powerplant maintenance, avionics, and aerospace engineering. ($1000+)
  • AVIATION MANAGEMENT (the Wilfred M. “Wiley” Post Scholarship) : Includes management of airlines, airports, FBOs, flight schools, and air traffic control. ($1000+)
  • PROFESSIONAL PILOT (the John W. “Reds” Macfarlane and the Arnold Palmer Scholarships) : Includes training for career opportunities related to actually flying aircraft. ($1000+)
  • AVIATION EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION SCHOLARSHIP: Applicant must be a Pennsylvania-based educational institution or instructive association. Applicant may personally attend training or conduct student career and technical education preparation programs outside of Pennsylvania. ($500-$1000)

Each year, the Aviation Foundation of Pennsylvania joins forces with the Aviation Council of Pennsylvania to host a highly anticipated basket raffle at the annual Pennsylvania Aviation Conference. Generously donated items from organizations and businesses across the state make up a variety of themed baskets, creating an exciting experience for conference attendees. Every dollar raised through this raffle is directly allocated to student scholarships, supporting the next generation of aviation professionals and helping to strengthen the future of Pennsylvania’s aviation industry.
