APPLICATION FOR ACP’S 2026 EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Scholarship Goal: program is to help educators teach young people about careers and career opportunities in aviation.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicant must be a Pennsylvania-based educational institution or instructive association. Applicant may personally attend training or conduct student career and technical education preparation programs outside of Pennsylvania. Training should help future aviators understand job duties and responsibilities, explain wages, benefits, job outlook, and the process of becoming an aviation professional.
  2. Aviation career opportunities include, but are not limited to: pilots, airframe and power plant maintenance, avionics, aerospace engineering, customer service, ramp agent, ticket agent, baggage handler, aircraft line service technicians, cargo package handlers, concession employees, airport maintenance, management of airlines, airports, FBOs, flight schools, and air traffic control.

Distribution of Scholarship Awards: Scholarship recipients will be notified by email or phone and by mail. Scholarship funds will be made co-payable to the scholarship winner and the organization where the applicant will be utilizing the scholarship funds. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the organization where the funds are to be utilized. Scholarship funds shall be returned to the Aviation Council if the applicant does not begin utilizing the funds within 120 days of receipt of the same.
