Concrete Overlays for General Aviation Facilities – Webinar
July 21 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Concrete overlays are an effective rehabilitation or reconstruction method to extend the life of or increase the capacity of an airfield pavement without performing a full reconstruction. Thin concrete overlays on general aviation airports have a proven track record of long-term performance well beyond traditional rehabilitation methods. This webinar will provide an overview of the benefits of concrete overlays on general aviation airports including examples of performance in different regions of the United States. The webinar will also discuss FAA policies and design standards as they relate to concrete overlays including an example of how they are designed, and how they can be compared to other rehabilitation methods as part of an alternatives analysis.
