ANNOUNCEMENT
The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Foundation will host two FREE three-day training sessions on starting high school aviation programs and its High School Aviation STEM Curriculum:
- West Coast: January 23-25, 2024, Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center, Seattle, WA
- East Coast: February 6-8, 2024, Aerospace Center for Excellence, Lakeland, FL

- Discover innovative teaching methods and dive deeply into our FREE seven-course aviation STEM curriculum.
- Immerse yourself in structured hands-on activities that bring STEM concepts to life.
- Tour the Museum of Flight and see aviation history first-hand (Seattle)
- See the curriculum come to life with real students and teachers during a tour of the Central Florida Aerospace Academy (Lakeland)
- Interact with industry experts and experienced educators passionate about integrating aviation into the classroom and preparing students for high-demand aerospace careers.
- Network with like-minded professionals and explore potential collaborations with other schools and districts.
WHO CAN ATTEND
- TRAINING IS OPEN TO TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND COUNSELORS from any public, charter, or private high school, school district, or career and technical education center.
- Training is open to any educator interested in learning more about aviation education. It is also open to staff at current and intending AOPA schools.
NO COST TO REGISTER
- There is no registration fee for this exciting three-day event.
- Attendees will receive breakfast and lunch each day at no cost.
- Tours of the Museum of Flight (Seattle) and the Central Florida Aerospace Academy (Florida) are included at no cost.
- Attendees are responsible for transportation, lodging, and other travel-related expenses.
